The current lesson is 'Snowy Scenes', which I ran a 'live' support Zoom session for at the end of November. This video lesson is available by email, or as a dvd. If the theme of this lesson does not appeal why not look at previous lessons. All lessons from March 2020 onwards are pre-recorded videos, so you can buy any of the lessons with support materials and take them at a time which is convenient to you.

What to expect

I am passionate about teaching and have a supportive and positive approach to sharing my skills with you. My classes are about learning, exploring and expressing yourself through acrylic paint. You don't need to have strong drawing skills and the class gives you room to either follow me exactly, or the freedom to show your own style and personality.

I started making videos to support my 'in person' painting workshops and during this time of social distancing I decided adapted the class to work with a video and 'live' online support. You can see some of my older videos for a taste of my style and work click here. The new lessons are much more detailed as they take your through step-by-step and include further support from me and the community of participating artists.

While I have designed my classes for adults who are beginners or creatives who want to develop their painting skills, I do have young people who take part, often with a parent. If your child is 10 years or older and is a keen artist my class might work for them. Get in touch to find out more.

You will need some materials for painting with acrylic and I can send you a list of what you need and links to online suppliers. Just send me an email and I will reply with the basic list and the list for the next class.

"I love that your classes not only teach me new skills and techniques, but introduce me to subjects that I would never have thought of." Jan

“Thank you Sheryll. When I first saw the picture I really didn’t think I would be able to paint it. Turns out you just need a great teacher to show you how!” Mel
